Hi. I'm Vanessa Cadavid - a fitness specialist and the founder of bodybyvane

I'm a Colombian native living in the United States. After 15 years of working in various professions, including long and laborious schedules in hospitality, along with poor personal habits, my body suffered from stress and experienced related health setbacks.

This was a time to reevaluate my life choices and an opportunity for transformation. This process started with self-reflection! A "look in the mirror" that led me to my passions and strengths. I knew that I've always been enthusiastic about exercising, but I had to go back to my early upbringing to discover that physical education and sports were the areas I naturally excelled in. My elementary school grades even proved it! It became clear that this would be my area of focus, aligning with my true passions. The renaissance had begun!   

I started training privately and in groups with leading trainers in NYC. I became an NASM certified personal trainer specializing in middle aged adults and seniors. I worked in the most acclaimed luxury gyms in Manhattan where I gained knowledge in the most advanced and current fitness practices. Not only has my own personal experience left a marked change on my lifestyle and well-being, but it has also made a positive impact on my clients’ fitness goals. My continuing education includes classes and certifications in Senior Fitness Specialty, Behavioral Changes Coaching, and Kettlebell Expertise. In addition, I research and maintain an active study in posture and pain management, nutrition, and holistic self-care methods.

I seek to live a life filled with vitality and adventure. I split my time between New York City and the mountains surrounding Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm an avid skier, mountain biker, hiker, and traveler to name a few. Bringing bodybyvane to clients is my joy. My mission is to provide clients with exceptional personal training where they can thrive in their own bodies and enjoy greater freedom in life.
